The new Volkswagen plant at Enterprise South makes it to the big screen.  United Visions TV and Film of Berlin, Germany offered a five minute sneak peak on Tuesday of "They Had to Come Here."  That's the long term documentary about V-W's initiative to build a new plant here in Chattanooga.

They began this three year long project this past January.

According to the documentary crew's spokesman, this film will put a human impact on the development of the plant.  "We're trying to tell the story of how Volkswagen's decision to come over here affects their lives, changed their lives," explained John Lionel Bandmann.  "We find that much more interesting than us only showing the progress of the building."

Several Chattanoogans, including Chattanooga Area Chamber VP for Economic Development Trevor Hamilton, will be featured in, "They Had to Come Here."

The crew will shoot on a monthly basis up until the plant is completed in 2011.
