A convicted child pornographer is trying to get his sentence reduced.
Bart Huskey from LaFayette was convicted of making child pornography and then distributing the images world wide.
Prosecutors say he recorded himself sexually molesting a young child over a four year period.
He was sentenced to 70-years in prison.
But his attorney has filed an appeal trying to reorganize that sentence.
He calls the term "unreasonably harsh."
The attorney is asking the appeals court to reduce the sentence by 30 years.
