Last week, Chattanooga landed $3,000 from KFC to repair potholes.
Now, comes word that the Scenic City could soon land $15,000 from Kellogg's to renovate some baseball fields in dire need of a little TLC.
Lookout Valley Recreation Center is one of 100 semi-finalists. Parents and Parks & Rec workers recently learned their nomination had made it to the next round. Over 3,400 ballfields were initially considered.
Until May 31st, the public can vote once a day for the fields they want to see renovated. Kellogg's with then combine the top vote getters with a judge's vote to select 30 fields to receive a makeover.
