CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Nicchaeus Doaks had 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead Chattanooga past North Carolina Greensboro 84-75 on Saturday night.
The Mocs (14-13, 10-6 Southern Conference) won their third straight game and have won 10 of their last 13 to improve to over .500 after a 1-7 start.
The Spartans (4-21, 3-13), who led by seven in the first half,
have dropped three in a row and nine of 10.
The Mocs pulled ahead 51-43 with 11:54 left. After UNC-Greensboro made it 59-58 with 8:09 remaining, Chattanooga
sealed the win at the line. For the game, the Mocs made 32 of 49
free throws on 37 UNC-Greensboro fouls.
Stephen McDowell added 20 points and Kevin Goffney had 17 points and 16 rebounds for Chattanooga, which also beat the Spartans 72-54 on Jan. 22 to achieve this season's first conference sweep.
Mikko Koivisto led UNC-Greensboro with 28 points.
