Records covering 85 years of marriages in Hamilton County are now available with the click of your mouse at www.countyclerkanytime.com [1].

Clerk Bill Knowles says he wants to keep his office up with the latest technology.

When he first ran for office in 1974 he ran on a promise of a mail-in program to renew car tags.

After ten more years of work he's brought marriage licenses to the cutting edge, too.

You can search by the groom's name, bride's name or the date.

"There's a lot of interest among people studying the family tree," Knowles said Monday.  "Geneologists will love this."

Right now you can search all marriages from 1857 through 1919 as well as all marriages from 1985 through present day.

They are still working to complete the remaining years.
