Talks continue about whether or not to offer alcohol at two Chattanooga landmarks. City council members took up the issue this afternoon. Some think alcohol sales could help raise revenue for the Tivoli and the Memorial Auditorium. City attorney Randy Nelson said the easiest thing to do would be to bring the issue to the General Assembly. Council woman Sally Robinson would like to see if idea would even be worthwhile. Councilwoman Robinson plans to meet with the operators of two facilities and see how other cities fair with sales at similar venues.
