"I tell people it is a family owned company but the real family is the family of workers," he says.

Hopper is the President of Hardwick Clothes. He has worked with his families company since 1989.

300 employees all contribute to Hardwick's flagship product- the men's blazer.

hhhhhhhhh [1]It takes 4-5 months to transform long rolls of uncut fabric into men's suits.

"Cleveland is a great community to do business. It's a great community period. We've got a lot diverse businesses here. And we've got a good manufacturing business and that's a testament to the people here," says Hopper.

If you haven't worn their products, you've seen them.

gggggggggggg [1]Hardwick makes pants for Major League umpires. The company will soon produce dress suits for men and women in the army. Every part of the clothing is made in America.

Hopper says outsourcing to other countries is not an option.

"Making everything here gives us a level of control of our product, [as oppose to] making it in Alabama, much less Mexico or China," he says.
