Presidential candidate Barack Obama told the Tennessee Republican party to quote "lay off my wife." The comment made on Good Morning America Monday morning was his response to an online video showing what some consider unpatriotic statements made by Michelle Obama. Congressman Zach Wamp responded to Obama's comment on Monday. "It's probably always a dangerous thing for a candidate's spouse to speak too much," Wamp said. "When Senator Clinton's spouse spoke too much in South Carolina everyone fired back at him. In this case she said some things that she probably wouldn't have said. And so you're always going to have this and the closer it gets to November the more of this there's going to be." Obama has called the YouTube video "low class."
