How do you plan on spending your Stimulus Check?

I'm already hearing from the news that anyone with children will be a couple hundred dollars short for some reason or another.They didn't give an exact reason or amount!!It's like grandma always used to say,"if it sounds too good to be true,it usually is."

alot of good its going to do. maybe pay a couple of past due bills. our country is in my opinion in this position because we bail everyone else out. we need to take care of our own first. Job loss, forclosures and bankruptsy should tell them something is wrong. Our government said that the economy is doing better. when was the last time thay went to the gas station or grocery store? Our government is in my opinion supporting the rich at the cost of others. Where is our president at?

i believe the so called STIMULUS CHECKS is just an excuse to Boost prices up on Gasoline. Many North Americans are going out and now it appears we are running out of Gas jajajaja maybe someone comes out with a smile so many American watching T.V take it as a joke and say yea thats true. So thats an excuse to make more money. think about this thank you and these is just my opinion.

We plan on using our check to take a vacation to go camping and mining in North Carolina.We are behind in our bills like everyone else but we are atleast going to forget about bills on this vacation and just have a good time,we could use the money to catch up but we will just become behind again eventually so we are going to splurge!!!Maybe even find some rubies or saphires while were there!!!!

I guess in a way that's true. We have been saving for several months to have my kitchen cabinets finished out. He is supposed to be putting them in next week. We are actually putting the stimulus check in our savings account to replenish what we are using to stimulate the economy by having cabinets built.

Can anyone tell me "why" gas prices keep going up and up? No hurricanes,no snow,and yet again a holiday looms before us ....and yes ,gas prices jump another 8 cents. Most of the working class are existing on 2006 wages ,and yet the oil co. executives just keep raising prices.It isn't like there is a shortage ....the old fable executives use is becoming very time worn indeed ! What we as consumers need to pass along to these execs. is........ enough is enough...why doesn't everyone decide to not drive over the weekend and let the prices drop ......then we would see how much of a shortage we do have! Ha ..probably just a fable after all. D.

I thought if you had your taxes direct deposited you would get your rebate earlier. I filed my taxes on line and they said because they used another bank to direct deposit our refund to our bank, that we would receive a paper check. This was not mentioned in the instructions. How goofed up this thing is.

The gas prices are so terrible now. I plan on visiting grandparents in July, a 750 mile trip. The stimulus check will help alot with the gas expenses. It will be about $4.50 a gallon by then.

These stimulus payments were supposed to "stimulate" the economy, but things are so expensive that people are having to use this money to pay bills because we are getting behind! Fat lot of good that did the economy, eh?
