Employees at Comcast wanted to adopt a school library and stock it with new and slightly used books.
After reviewing the needs at several area schools, they settled on East Lake Elementary.
Comcast partnered with W-T-C-I and Barnes and Noble to host a book drive...
Hoping to collect 100-books.
They blew that goal away donating 15-hundred-23 books to the school.
alan mcduff/comcast: "when we first walked in here and looked at the library, I have to say I was really heart broken to see all the empty space, more than there are books."
McDuff says other schools in Hamilton County still need help...
And encourages employees at other local businesses to step-up and fill those needs.
So how much did East Lake need the help?
We'll take you inside the school library in tonight's Life with Luther.
