Chattanooga police charge two men with shooting another man in the hand in a March 15th incident at East lake Courts.

Lauande Haggard and Darius Sneed are charged with attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Chattanooga Police spokeswoman Jerri Weary says the men first got into a fight at a Bi-Lo supermarket.

"The incident stemmed from an argument that the victim had with his girlfriend's friend," Sgt. Weary said Monday.   "It just escalated from there. Multiple parties became involved and I think a subsequent fight ensued in East lake Courts which resulted in the shooting."

Darius Sneed was arrested for another shooting a year ago.

Both men were taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
