There is new information on the various murder cases now associated with Gary Michael Hilton.
Here is the latest. Florida officials are now ready to charge him for the death of 46-year old Cheryl Hodges Dunlap. Her body was found in the Apalachiocola National Forest three weeks ago. And now a North Carolina sheriff is willing to call Hilton a "suspect" in the murder of John and Irene Bryant. That's the case tied to the Ducktown bank. Finally investigators are also looking at a second murder in Florida for a connection. This victim was a 27-year old man who was beheaded and then dumped in a state park.
But the focus today in Georgia was on the first victim Hilton is accused of killing. Friends and family held a memorial service for 24-year old Meredith Emerson. Rebecca Schram has our top story tonight from Athens.
