Holiday wreaths decorate Chattanooga National Cemetery as part of Wreaths Across America.

The tradition began in 1992 when Worchester Wreath company donated wreaths to Arlington National Cemetery. This marks the second year Chattanoogans have participated, placing more than 100 wreaths in our national cemetery.
Veterans on hand at today's ceremony say it's important that young people know the cost of freedom.
Veteran Robbie Presley, "A lot of them nowadays just kind of think it's silly military stuff, and don't remember not knowing that those are the men and women that sacrificed for them so they can enjoy the freedoms they have today, I think it's just important we remember."
Organizers hope the tradition continues to grow. They'd eventually like to see a wreath on all 35,000 graves in the national cemetery.
