Cherohala Skyway [1]: The Skyway travels along U.S. Highway 165 from Tellico Plains, TN to Robbinsville, NC. This route offers spectacular views all along the way. The elevation of the highway reaches 5,000 feet in several locations.
(NORTH CHEROKEE NF)
TN. Hwy 107 from Cocke County to Unicoi County.
Houston Valley Area
Paint Creek to Hot Springs, N.C.
TN. Hwy 107 from Del Rio to Round Mtn. and to I-40

IN NORTH GEORGIA
Estimated percentage of current fall foliage: 10% mostly above 3,500 feet.

From Cleveland, GA take State Highway 129 north. Turn left onto State Highway 180 just past Vogel State Park. Continue on 180 to State Highway 60. Turn left onto Highway 60 to Dahlonega. An alternate is to turn right on Highway 60 and head to Blue Ridge.
