A Bledsoe County woman faces charges for "doctor shopping."
That's the practice of going to multiple doctors to get prescription medicine.
The legislature passed a law saying you have to inform a doctor about seeing other physicians in a 30-day period if controlled substances are involved.
Investigators say 47-year old Teresa Randolph visited four doctors to get prescriptions for the addictive painkiller Hydrocodone.
And she charged Tenncare for each of the visits.
