Some Whitfield County property owners get the chance to help name their road. Anyone who lives on a private driveway shared between three structures qualifies. There are a few stipulations - Roads can't be named after a living person, no rhyming names and no duplicate names. This is part of the address location project to help emergency workers find a house faster. A map showing the roads that need naming will be posted at the Administration Building #1 on Crawford Street. Residents can submit their suggestions thru Saturday.
