Walker County Native Ashley Harkleford Loses Wimbledon Match, Talks About Playboy Spread
Rossville Georgia native Ashley Harkleroad opened at Wimbledon on Monday against 2006 champ Amelie Mauresmo.
They played on court two, known as the graveyard court, because so many upsets have taken place there.
So could HARKLEROAD add another one to the list?
She fell behind early, dropping the first set 6-4, but she appeared to find her game in the second.
She went up 1-0 in the second set.
But eventually, she ran out of steam, losing 6-4, 6-3.
Before the match though, she spoke with ESPN about her decision to pose for next month's edition of Playboy.
Ashley Harkleroad: "Amanda Beard, she did it, and I saw her photos, and they were very classy. Mine however, are not like hers. They're a little bit more risque. But still very classy, and very pretty I think."
