Vandals Slash Tents of Parents Camping Out at CSAS

Comments Below: 2

Vandals strike out at parents camping outside the Chattanooga School for Arts and Sciences.
Parents trying to get their children into CSAS will camp out here overnight.
However, last night, a few parents took the night off, and went home.
When they got back early this morning, they discovered some tents slashed.
Other belongings, like chairs, were also damaged.
Vandals carved the letters e and x into some of those chairs.
Parents note those letters are symbolic of a nearby fraternity.

Doesn't add up

Why would the fraternity across the street take credit for such a vandalism? I doubt, also, that they would be ignorant enough to carve an "e" instead of a sigma. Just doesn't add up.

CSAS Vandalism not related to Sigma Chi Fraternity

The letters E X are not the Sigma Chi letters from the local chapter located behind CSAS. No one associated with UTC Fraternities would have made that mistake considering that half of the fraternities have a Sigma in the title. ex-Sigma Kappa, Kappa Sigma, Sigma Gamma Rho, Delta Sigma Theta, Phi Beta Sigma, & Sigma Chi. Whoever did this used what they saw as a motivator.
