Truck Wrecks On I-75, Driver Apparently Suffers "Medical Emergency"
A witness saw the truck driver lose control and steer the rig off the Enterprise South exit. The trailer slid across a guardrail before coming to a stop down a steep slope. The driver apparently suffered a medical emergency. He was taken to Erlanger where his condition is not known. Firefighters discovered the trailer was carrying containers of paint and a couple of other chemicals. Chattanooga police will investigate the exact cause of the accident.
Haz-mat crews spent much of the afternoon cleaning up a section of I-75 after a tractor trailer jackknifed on an off-ramp.
