Traffic down the Ridgecut is still moving slowing thanks to an 18-wheeler that spilled part of its load. The incident happened around 11:30 Wednesday morning. Chattanooga Fire Chief Mack Moore says 500 gallons of latex spilled onto the roadway. The material is not hazardous but it does cause the roadway to be slick. Crews put down sand to adhere to the substance for an easier clean-up.
