Troopers Charge McMinn Driver in Crash That Kills Two Teens
Tennessee troopers have charged the driver of a pickup truck with vehicular homicide after a deadly crash Sunday in McMinn County.
It happened on Highway 3-0-5 at three in the morning.
Troopers say 29-year-old William Ottman was driving under the influence of alcohol and had marijuana in his possession when his pickup crossed the center line.
16-year old John Daugherty of Englewood and 17-year old Rachael Slade from Etowah died in the crash.
18-year old Shane Standridge remains in critical condition.
They were all in the vehicle that Ottman hit head-on.
