The Chattanooga Association of REALTORS Join The "Fight The Hike"
The Chattanooga Association of REALTORS is the latest to join citizens, businesses and politicians publicly opposing the 20-point-four percent increase. The group says the area has the most expensive water rates out of Tennessee's six largest cities and warns against the affects on the local real estate market. Tennessee American's President John Watson says the rate increase is necessary because the company is also experiencing rising costs. The TRA holds a hearing on the request August 18th in Chattanooga. For more information on the Chattanooga Association of REALTORS, click here.
