Thanks For Giving, Organ Donor/Recipient Ceremony Brings Families Together

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, a community comes together to give *thanks* for the gift of life.

This was the first time for an event of this sorts in Chattanooga to honor organ donors and their families.

"It was amazing the response I got from my recipients who wanted to be a part of this and personally thank these donor families. It's just a great way for people who have a connection to donation to come together," Dawn Benjamin with Tennessee Donor Services added.

After a short program, the group released balloons in their loved one's honor.
