SUV/ 4 Wheeler Wreck Sends 9 Year Old to Hospital

Nine year old Dowen Grissom was flown to Erlanger in critical condition Monday evening after the 4 wheeler he was riding collides with an SUV.The wreck happened on Dolly Pond Road at Rabbit Lane around 6:45 pm. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says it doesn't appear the SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed.

Lt. Charles Lowery with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says, "the vehicle was traveling west bound on Dolly Pond road and allegedly this is when the 4 wheeler came out in front. She took evasive action but could not avoid contact with the four wheeler."
The driver of the SUV did not get hurt. The wreck is under investigation.
