There are many enemies in the battle to lose weight. And doctors say a big one...stress.
If you've noticed stress can make your weight problems worse, you're not alone. A look at 13 hundred men and women over nine years proved it's a common problem. Harvard researchers found overweight men and women packed on more pounds if they reported being stressed. And certain stresses caused more problems...like job and money for both sexes. Women had other issues like family problems and feeling hemmed in by life. Doctors suggest anticipating problems from stress to reduce the risk of weight gain.
And remember exercise is a great way to both reduce stress and shed some unwanted pounds. Stay safe and healthy.
