Southern Adventist Students Health Expo
Comments Below: 0
Patten Towers residents get check-up on their health thanks to the help of some area students. Students from Southern Adventist University assessed residents basic needs from blood pressures to height, weight and blood sugar. Nearly half of the Patten Towers community took advantage of the services. Students from different on-campus organizations have worked throughout the year with residents but came together today for the expo. Organizers say many of the residents have no insurance or primary doctor. With the information students gathered from residents today, volunteer physicians and nurses will follow-up to provide health care on a semiannnual basis.
