The circumstantial evidence may point to a fraternity.

But tonight members of that fraternity deny any involvement in the vandalism outside the School for Arts and Sciences.

It happened to parents camping out to get their children into the school.

Some tents and chairs were slashed and stabbed.. In the pattern of a Greek symbol.

A fraternity is next door.

But tonight.. Fraternity leaders came out to assure the parents they had nothing to do with the vandalism.

Campsite Vandalised

Ed Powers of Sigma Chi says, "Everybody here is pretty much convinced that we did not do this , and that we're not involved. That's also the opinion of the administration here at CSAS. Our chapter advisor Marcus Holsey talked to him this morning, Steve Ball, who's princpal . He doesn't feel that it was us, the University doesn't feel it was us."

Parents began lining up last week, in an effort to get their kids enrolled at the school.

C-S-A-S starts officially taking applications this Saturday.

CSAS

While it's rather pathetic that anyone chose to slash tents and personal property, the parents camping out at CSAS this year are doing an excellent job of keeping the environment efficient, safe and orderly. These parents exemplify what the school is all about, a coming together of a diverse group of people who will hopefully grow together over the next thirteen years.

Kudos to them for setting a good example for their children and for representing Chattanooga in a very respectable manner.

hmmm

Consider this. I highly doubt these guys did it. What I dont doubt is some rival fraternity coming in to blackmail them. Sounds like something another frat would do

well that appears to be an

well that appears to be an "E" that was cut into the chair...E in the greek alphabet means Epsilon...not Σ(this means Sigma)...thought about high school kids?...i also find it wierd that the only tents that were cut were the ones that nobody was in.
