Sergeant Chris Weir returned home to Cleveland from Iraq to surprise his daughters at their elementary school. The whole staff at Oak Grove was in on the surprise. Six year old Kylee and 4 year old Ashlyn just thought they were going to be able to talk to their dad over the internet. Weir joined the military to finish the mission of his brother David Weir who was killed in Baghdad in 2006. Weir heads back to Fort Campbell for a couple more weeks before returning to Cleveland for good. Once he leaves the military he says he plans to continue serving his community in some capacity.![]()
