A Soddy Daisy company finds itself in the center of a big mess. The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation says Priority Waste Services is running an illegal dumpsite. TDEC personnel searched the property on Green Pond Road Friday. They found metal, toys, sheet rock, household garbage, wood, couches, roofing materials, plastics and vinyl siding. A Notice of Violation went to the business and property owners. TDEC says Priority Waste Services must stop dumping at the site immediately and clean it up within 30 days. The owners could face penalties of $5,000 per day.
