School Board member Janice Boydston will perform community service to finally put an end to her shoplifting case.
Wal-mart officials accused her of taking items from their Lookout valley store in 2008.
She never admitted guilt, saying she mistakenly put the items in her purse.
But a judge has granted her a pretrial diversion.
That means if she performs 57 hours of community service.. The case will be purged from her record.
