A taste of Hollywood for the Tennessee Valley Thursday night
As the red carpet is rolled out for independent film to make its debut.
The Film "Say It In Russian" premiered with all the trappings of tinsel town right here in Hixson.
WDEF News 12's Mandy Odom spoke with some of the actors and producers to find out just what goes in to the making of a feature film.
Stars walked the red carpet in Chattanooga Thursday night for the premier of "Say It In Russian".
The scenic city was one of many stops as the actors and producers premiere the film bringing a bit of Hollywood to cites that otherwise might never experience it.
Executive Producer Kenneth Eade says, "I feel great, and its great to be in the south where our film is been given really good reception by film festivals in the south and midwest. We're happy to be here to premier it."
South African Actress Musetta Vander plays a blonde bombshell in the movie who marries for money.
She says her character was superficial, but fun to play.
Vander describes the movie as a classic.
She says, "It's a love story, and I think what makes this movie very enjoyable is its simple and romantic, very romantic. It's definitely a dinner date movie. You know, if you want to go out with your date, it's the first date out, it's all about love and what you do for love."
Executive Producer Kenneth Eade has been working on the movie since the beginning.
He says producing a film is much harder than people think.
Eade says, "It gets ready when it gets ready. It's art. It's done when its done."
Leading Actress Agata Gotova  from Russia says she wanted to introduce America to Russia.... like in the movie.
Legendary Screen icon  Faye Dunaway introduces Gotova's character to an American businessman, played by Steven Brand, at a party.
     And they fall in love.
But this film isn't just a love story, before they know it  the characters find themselves entangled in the dealings of the Russian mafia.
Gotova says, "One super power and another one like superpower collide in those two characters.. American and a Russian. And so then the adventure takes us from there to Moscow, and then you have to come see the movie to see the rest."
Gotova says the movie was hard to make, but that dreams can come true.
