
Rowers Rescued After Boat Collision At Head Of The Hooch Event

Quick response by rescue crews saved rowers from serious injury at the Head of the Hooch event. Around 9 a.m Satuday two boats collided, sending one into a bouy. That boat carried 9 members of the Louisville Rowing Club. The impact caused the boat to fill with water. Rescue crews pulled everyone to safety. They were checked out and no injuries were reported. The boat had to be towed to shore.
