Rossville Man Dies in Motorcycle Wreck

A motorcycle wreck leaves one man dead and a woman injured.
It happened at the intersection of Spring Creek Road and San Hsi Drive in East Ridge. Emergency crews arrived to find two people lying on the ground with the wrecked motorcycle nearby. 53-year-old Samuel James was pronounced dead at the scene. His female passenger, whose name has not been released suffered only minor injuries. East Ridge police continue to investigate the accident but it appears alcohol and speed played a role in the crash.
