Riverbend Beach Presents Lucky Ooltewah Couple a Trip to Florida

This Years Riverbend Beach at Riverbend was a huge hit with and it turns out that an Ooltewah couple will be soaking up some sun thanks to WDEF News 12, Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, And Doubletree Hotels.

During Riverbend, folks had a chance to register for a six-day, five-night ocean front vacation to Melbourne, Florida just by stopping by Riverbend Beach and registering on site during the festival.  On the morning of Friday, June 18th, Blake Strickland, President and CEO of Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union,  along with all of the Riverbend Beach partner sponsors, presented the prize trip to Margaret Frazier.  Margaret almost didn't sign-up to win the trip. Margaret had this to say: "We'll it was Tuesday night and Randy wasn't able to come that night but I was meeting friend down there and had a little bit of time and I thought its not real crowded so I'll go in and sign up, never dreaming that I'd win".  Chip Baker, Friends of the Festival, joined the whole Riverbend Beach Team to congratulate everyone for their efforts towards another great Riverbend festival 2009.
