Ringgold Woman Arrested For TennCare Fraud

24-year old Heather Parker faces a charge of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.

Investigators say she stole the purse of a legal TennCare enrollee and used her card to get painkillers.

"This is an unusual case of literally purse-snatching someone’s TennCare card to obtain the means for getting an addictive painkiller," Inspector General Deborah Y. Faulkner said.
