
Ringgold Woman Arrested For TennCare Fraud

24-year old Heather Parker faces a charge of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud. Investigators say she stole the purse of a legal TennCare enrollee and used her card to get painkillers.
"This is an unusual case of literally purse-snatching someone’s TennCare card to obtain the means for getting an addictive painkiller," Inspector General Deborah Y. Faulkner said. "Whatever the method is, people who commit TennCare fraud run the risk of facing serious criminal charges."Heather ParkerA woman from Ringgold is the latest suspect arrested for TennCare fraud.
