Raccoon Hunt Shootout Leads to Criminal Charges

     A Raccoon hunt in northeast alabama last spring has finally resulted in grand jury indictments for a shooting.
     It happened back in march on the Alabama/Georgia state line.
     Four hunters were in the woods.. When they were confronted by harold Thompson and his son.. William.
     Both groups were carrying guns.. And they exchanged shots at each other.
     One of the hunters was shot in the shoulder and spent several days in the hospital.
     Thompson was also shot in the stomach.
     Now a Dekalb county grand jury has indicted both Thompsons on charges of attempted murder.
