Project Access Reaches Milestone in Providing Free Health Care in Hamilton County

Project Access celebrates providing more than $30 Million in free health care as part of Cover the Uninsured Week...

Project Access offers free medical services to qualifying uninsured residents of Hamilton County.

It is a partnership between the local Medical Society and Medical Foundation.

In its four years of existence, Project Access has provided almost 3 thousand people with free health services.

Cover the Uninsured Week is April 27th through May 3rd.

It promotes the need for adequate health insurance for all Americans.

Jim Brexler, President & CEO of Erlanger Health Systems says, "What this community needs to know is there are programs like project access where doctors and hospitals and other services are making sure that people don't slip though the cracks."

There are 42 thousand people without health insurance in Hamilton County.
