Athens Police Identify Traffic Crash Victim

An Athens man died early Wednesday in a one car crash on State Road 30.
Athens police say 63-year-old Robert Marler hit a bridge abutment at the intersection with Interstate 75 about 5:30.
The impact trapped Marler in his car, which caught on fire.
Police are still trying to determine the cause of the crash.
The highway was blocked for several hours
