Luther Shockley Named District 5 Caretaker

Chattanooga City council members select a caretaker for the District 5 seat.

Luther Shockley will serve as an interim council person until the November election.

Shockley notes, "First off, I'll touch base with different neighborhood associations. At some point I hope to talk to [former] Councilman Franklin and see what he has in the pipeline and sort of follow it through that way and see how it goes."

Shockley publicly agreed not to run for the district 5 seat in the next election.
