Covering Campaign 2008...It's down to the wire for the candidates in Tuesday's Georgia primary.

Four candidates vie to win the GOP nomination for Catoosa County Commission Chair.

Incumbent Bill Clark, faces challengers Judd Burkhart, Keith Greene, and Jeff Wolford.

The winner faces democrat Lynn Long in November.

Still, voter turn out is expected to be much lower than November's general election.

Randall Franks, Staff Writer for the Catoosa County News says, "These primary elections are just as important because you're essentially picking the nominee, the nominee of the party whether it's the democratic party or the republican party and that's important because that's the person that you're gonna get the change to vote for in November."

Polls are open Tuesday from seven until seven.
