Samantha has been fighting cancer since she was 6 weeks old and it has taken her eyesight. Congressman Zach Wamp helped kick off the ride at the Creative Discovery Museum, where Samantha volunteers to read to children from braille books. She will be riding on a tandem bike, joined by a series of co-pilots along the way. The entire journey will take Samantha along highway 41, across Monteagle Mountain to Nashville, then on to Memphis. 18-year-old Samantha Gilley will ride from Chattanooga to Memphis benefiting St. Jude Hospital.
