Chattanooga Poker Club Tournament Robbery In Chattanooga

Three masked gunmen entered the Knights of Columbus hall on Lee Highway around 6:15 Thursday morning. The suspects demanded the victims get on the floor then made off with their money. Players did say their game involved POINTS not cash.
An all night Chattanooga Poker Club tournament ended early Thursday morning when some uninvited guests arrived.

Clarification...Please note that this was not a Knights of Columbus event, nor was it sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. The event was sponsored by the Chattanooga Poker Club, the group that rented the facility. This fact may not have been reported in the initial police account.

Your story gives the impression that this was a Knights of Columbus sanctioned event. The group was only renting the hall.

Regarding the story about the Knights of Columbus hall robbery, the event in questions was not aa Knights of Columbus event, nor was it sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. The event was organized by the Chattanooga Poker Club, the group that rented the facility. This fact may not have been noted in the initial police report.
