East Brainerd Elementary school will soon be a child's dream.
On Thursday, designers from the Playground, Leathers & Associates, met with the kids at East Brainerd to brainstorm ideas for a new playground.
The venture should cost around 100-thousand dollars, and Bi-Lo Charities is pitching in half the fund-raising goal.
Designer Barry Segal will use the kids ideas to come up with the final design for the school's new playground.
Playground designer Barry Segal says "There's nothing more empowering that to have a kid give an idea, either, and then to move to paper, and then to move from paper to reality."
Segal expects to start construction in March.
The playgroud is built with volunteer labor, and should take only 5 days.
