1 1/3 cup of powdered sugar
3 cups of flour
2 cups of shortening
1 cup of nuts
dash of vanilla
dash of salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening and nuts. Mash with hands then roll into balls and put on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten the ball with a fork. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly brown. In a separate bowl, pour in additional powdered sugar. Put lightly cooled cookies in the sugar bowl, shake to coat, and remove from sugar once coated. Now EAT!!! Warning, this recipe is messy and fattening!
