James Howard Heading to Haiti

A effort among local schools and the community to help children in Haiti nets over $4,000.
James Howard plans to take the money raised last month at East Brainerd Elementary and East Hamilton Middle High to Haiti personally.
He plans to purchase food while in Haiti for "A Voice for Children," an orphanage that helps feed 12 to 15,000 kids a day. "My idea is for them to watch us in the mornings watch us in the afternoons, listen to us on the radio, turn it up and go, ah that's so neat I was a part of that. I gave $50, I gave $10," says Howard.
Howard landed a seat aboard a missionary plane leaving out of Ft. Pierce later this week. He brings back video from Haiti to show the public exactly what their donations purchased.
Howard says its not too late to give. You can find a link to "A Voice for Children" here.
