Hamilton County Mayor Claude Ramsey Honored with Harrison, Tennessee Post Office Naming

The naming of the Harrison, Tennessee Post Office to the Claude Ramsey Post Office marks the first time a post office in the southeast district has been named after anyone.  It's due to the efforts of Congressman Zach Wamp.

"Over his life he has stayed the same humble, genuine, decent Harrison boy who used to work at the Harrison post office" Congressman Wamp said.  "So what better way to honor Claude Ramsey's service than to name the Harrison Post Office?"

Mayor Ramsey worked at the Harrison Post Office as a teenager and was joined by a former co-worker at the ceremony.
