A longtime member of the Hamilton County commission decides 22-years of setting policy to be a political career.
Curtis Adams announced today he will not seek re-election next year.
Adams, who currently serves as Commission Chair, lists the addition of Volkswagen to the community as one of the most memorable moments while in office.
Adams has worked with three Tennessee Governors, four Chattanooga mayors, and six mayors from East Ridge during his two decades of service.
