One of the most recognizable names in bluegrass books a stop in the Scenic City...
Grammy winner Alison Krauss returns to Chattanooga for Riverbend 2010.
She first played the festival decades ago.
Krauss has won more grammy awards than any other female artist.
She most recently racked up accolades for her album with Robert Plant.
Dixie Fuller of Friends of the Festival laughs as he says, "Anytime you open with Sheryl Crow, you close with Charlie Daniels, and then you put an Alison Kraus, a Darius Rucker in between there it's just got home run written all over it and I think we raised the bar. I don't know what I'm gonna do next year."
Krauss takes the Coca-Cola stage Saturday June 12th.
