It is true that your current
It is true that your current situation does suck. But dont you think that maybe the rent you were paying at that motel could have went towards finding a decent apartment for your self and your family? I mean the majority of people who lived there were dope heads of some sort. And you had to know it was in a flood zone too right? And dont think I am trying to put you down I hate to hear about the situation you and your family are in. But did you really think that a government agency was going to do any more for you than they did? It is time to pick your selves up and move on. I hope everything works out for you.

honesltly disappointing
MY wife, son, and i have practicly lost almost everything and we had heard about FEMA helping out residents of Superior Creek Lodge. we had lived there at the time of the flood so we did need help. We had attended this morning, and applied for help long story short we have lost an estimate of $1500 worth of clothes, electronics, toys, and personal belonings. we had been told we were not accepted as a natural disaster and the only thing we had recieved was a $25 food voucher, and a so called "heart-felt" I'm Sorry. Now weren't they supposed to help everyone through these times or were we just standing in line for 3 hours to hear an appolige?
