A 21-year-old Chattanooga man died after he was shot in the head early Thursday morning.
Police found Jacquard Petty lying in the road in the 2200 block of Milne Street around 2:30.
The incident began at the 2301 Club where Witnesses told police Petty and an unidentified woman began arguing.
The disagreement moved outside and Petty's girlfriend got involved.
The other woman's boyfriend then joined in.
Police Lieutenant Kim Noorbergen says Petty ran when the suspect pulled a gun, "From what witnesses have told us the suspect was chasing him, firing at him. The suspect either collapsed or fell, and supposedly the suspect walked up on him, and he shot him."
Police have not made any arrests.
